Design Team Day with Barb
Hello everyone, Barb here with another Design Team Share Day. I have a back to school gift card holder to share with you today. Whether you slip in a gift card to your students favorite store or load it up with cold hard cash, these little holders are always a fun gift.
I used the Little School Books digital stamp for this one and I colored it with pencils.
The focal panel serves as the closure for the holder. It is anchored by two pieces of dimensional adhesive at the bottom of the image.
And here is a view of it opened. I created a pocket to hold the gift card or cash. And of course, I decorated the inside to finish it off nicely.
To view the complete supply list for this project, click HERE to visit my blog. I also have a link there that includes the instructions for making the holders. Even though I've decorated this one for back to school, these gift card holders are good for any occasion. There are so many digital stamps in the Shop that can be used on this...for birthdays, Halloween or Christmas. I think it would be really cute to use the Movie Time Popcorn image on a gift card holder for giving movie passes. Or using the Grad Cap or Grad Diploma for a grad. The Baby Shower image would be darling for that new mom-to-be. And the Nail Polish digi would be perfect to use when gifting that special teen with a mani/pedi day. I bet you can come up with some uses of your own, too! Thank you so much for visiting with me today!
Until next time...
